Local author to bring her latest books to Yawn’s

Kathi Harper Hill has lived in the Appalachian Mountains of North Georgia all her life. She says Appalachia is her first language, English being her second.

She’ll be at Yawn’s Bookstore Friday, Nov. 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to introduce three of her new books, as well as two previous books publishing by Yawn’s Publishing.

The Christmas Closet and Other Works (Cover Illustrated by David Hill) — The stories in this book will entertain you this holiday season.  It’s a tiny package that contains a big punch.

Out On A Limb of the Family Tree  — This book is about a way of life that is fast disappearing in to the modern world of common language…little or no accents and a motto of “hurry, hurry, hurry!” The book is mostly fictional, interwoven with true stories the author collected over a period of years from family and friends.

Signs From God  — This book is about facing challenges and making decisions that are not only right, but putting someone else’s life before your own. Done with humor and insight into human emotions and struggles, this book will keep you up wanting to read “just one more chapter.”

These books plus the Christian Fiction Romance young adult novel Falling and the Georgia Author of the Year 1st Runner-Up The Crow in the Wind will be available at the book signing.
